Job Description

Resorts World Sentosa is seeking an experienced and AI-proficient Art Director (Senior Manager / Manager) to join our Branding Creative Team on a one-year contract.

This role will play a key part in developing campaign master visuals, brand storytelling systems, and integrated creative assets that elevate the Resorts World Sentosa brand across multiple channels and guest touchpoints.

The ideal candidate combines strong conceptual thinking with hands-on design excellence and a deep understanding of emerging creative technologies. Beyond traditional design capabilities, you should be comfortable leveraging generative AI tools to rapidly visualise ideas, accelerate creative development, produce high-quality visual content, and push creative possibilities beyond conventional workflows.

You will work closely with Brand Management, Resort Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders to transform strategic narratives into compelling visual experiences that drive both brand impact and business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Creative Leadership & Concept Development

  1. Develop campaign concepts, master key visuals, and visual storytelling frameworks for integrated marketing initiatives.
  2. Translate strategic briefs and brand narratives into compelling creative ideas and scalable visual systems.
  3. Lead creative development from ideation through execution while maintaining high standards of craft and consistency.
  4. Present and articulate creative rationale effectively to stakeholders and senior management.

Design & Content Creation

  1. Create high-quality visual assets across digital, social, print, experiential, environmental, and presentation platforms.
  2. Produce and direct visual content including static imagery, motion graphics, short-form video, and AI-generated creative assets.
  3. Apply strong design principles across typography, composition, colour, photography, illustration, and motion design.
  4. Ensure consistency and quality across all branded communications and customer touchpoints.

AI-Driven Creative Innovation

  1. Leverage generative AI platforms to accelerate ideation, concept visualisation, image generation, motion content creation, storyboarding, moodboarding, and rapid prototyping.
  2. Stay current with emerging AI creative technologies and identify opportunities to improve creative quality, speed, and efficiency.
  3. Develop workflows that combine human creativity with AI-powered tools to enhance team productivity and creative output.
  4. Support experimentation and adoption of new creative technologies across the Branding Creative Team.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  1. Partner closely with Brand Management, Resort Marketing, and Business Units to align creative solutions with business objectives.
  2. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
  3. Collaborate with internal and external creative partners, production vendors, photographers, videographers, and agencies when required.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 8 years of experience in creative, branding, design, or art direction roles within agency, studio, or in-house environments.
  2. Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, campaign development, visual storytelling, and execution across digital, social, experiential, and traditional channels (portfolio submission required).
  3. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and related creative production tools.
  4. Proven experience leveraging generative AI for ideation, image creation, motion content, rapid prototyping, visual exploration, and creative workflow optimisation.
  5. Strong understanding of the evolving AI creative landscape, with genuine curiosity and initiative to continuously explore emerging tools, technologies, and industry developments. Able to evaluate and adopt new AI capabilities to enhance creative quality, efficiency, and innovation.
  6. Hands-on experience with leading AI creative platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Nano Banana, Adobe Firefly, Magnific, Runway, Veo, Kling, Higgsfield, or equivalent technologies.
  7. Excellent design fundamentals, including typography, composition, visual hierarchy, colour theory, art direction, photography, and brand system development.
  8. Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and project management skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas clearly and influence diverse audiences.
  9. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with agility, attention to detail, and sound judgement.
  10. Self-driven, collaborative, adaptable, and passionate about storytelling, innovation, emerging technologies, and creative excellence.
