Principal Accountabilities:-
- Develop business plan and implement strategies to achieve the company's vision and mission.
- Analyze market trends, business development opportunities, and risk management practices.
- Gather intelligence on client strategies and risk management in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
- Collaborate with the Head Office in Tokyo and client headquarters in Singapore to formulate marketing strategies.
- Enhance risk management solutions and support related initiatives.
- Deliver marketing related training to the company and group affiliates in English and Japanese as required.
- Provide regular reports in Japanese to the Head Office.
- Assist other departments with reporting in accordance with regional directives.
- Lead additional projects not limited the above as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree professional insurance qualifications preferred.
- Minimum 10 years experience in marketing or corporate planning within the general insurance sector.
- Strong analytical, reporting, presentation, and communication skills in both English and Japanese.
- In-depth knowledge of business development with Japanese companies and underwriting.
- Working knowledge of finance and/or accounting is advantageous.
- Experience in Japanese or international insurance companies in a regional role is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, work collaboratively, and adapt to new challenges.
- Highly organized, able to perform under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
