As our Senior Manager in Corporate Communications, you'll lead initiatives that build trust, elevate our voice, and bring the Busy Bees story to life across owned, earned, and shared media.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping how parents, partners, and employees experience the Busy Bees brand driving impactful narratives that strengthen connection, engagement, and advocacy across Asia. From strategic media relations and thought leadership to crisis response and internal communications, your work will ensure every message reflects both heart and performance.

What You'll Do

  • Shape and safeguard brand communications design and execute an integrated communications strategy that amplifies Busy Bees voice, strengthens brand visibility, and ensures consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity across every touchpoint.
  • Craft purposeful and timely narratives develop high-level messaging and content for leaders and key initiatives, from CEO speeches, corporate decks, and thought leadership pieces to media statements and issues communications. Be the voice of clarity and calm during sensitive moments crafting holding statements, advising stakeholders, and ensuring communication is handled with empathy, transparency, and trust.
  • Drive impactful media partnerships build and sustain meaningful relationships with media outlets and agency partners across parenting, education, and lifestyle sectors. Lead media engagement, editorial features, and thought leadership stories that inspire confidence, strengthen brand visibility, and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Curate meaningful content manage the corporate communications calendar to ensure storytelling is timely, relevant, and aligned with the brand's purpose and priorities.
  • Manage budgets with intent oversee communication budgets to ensure resources are optimised and investments drive meaningful, cost-efficient impact.
  • Strengthen connection and belonging oversee NPS monitoring, sentiment insights, and internal communications to deepen engagement, build pride, and foster loyalty among parents and staff.
  • Collaborate for impact partner with Marketing, HR, and Operations teams to ensure unified storytelling, strategic alignment, and a shared voice across all touchpoints.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 8 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or integrated marketing, ideally with both in-house and media/newsroom exposure.
  • Proven ability to craft strategic narratives and high-impact content from press releases and features to speeches and internal messages.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail and brand tone.
  • Demonstrated success in media relations from pitching and securing coverage to nurturing trusted relationships with key journalists and publications.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate insights into clear, practical communication solutions.
  • Experience in budget management and working with agencies, media, and internal stakeholders to deliver efficient, effective outcomes.
  • Highly organised and adaptable able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines reliably.
  • A collaborative, empathetic communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
  • Experience in the early childhood education sector is an advantage.
