Job Description

About the Role:

The purpose of this role is to drive revenue growth and expand market reach by developing, executing, and optimizing strategies for third-party partners such as resellers, distributors, and agents.

This role serves as a key link between the company and its indirect sales network, helping ensure that partners are equipped, supported, and motivated to represent and sell our products and services effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver against company sales and profit targets, with year-on-year growth objectives.
  • Manage customer relationships across channels and support sales growth through effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Evaluate and develop the distributor network across the country, aligned with existing sales channels and company strategy.
  • Represent Olympus in direct engagement with end users for selected key accounts, including product presentations and price negotiations in distributor countries.
  • Define and implement partner programs and activity calendars with distributors, including events, key account visits, and sales incentives.
  • Develop sales plans and execute sales activities in line with the agreed business plan, while working with distributors to strengthen brand presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new distribution channels and routes to market.
  • Manage and grow the sales pipeline with distributors, ensuring opportunities are accurately maintained and updated.
  • Analyze sales performance and prepare monthly sales forecasts and reports.
  • Establish strategic objectives for each market through analysis of margins, pricing, and brand positioning to support overall targets.
  • Negotiate terms and support the implementation of new distributor agreements to deliver sales and profit goals.
  • Ensure distributors align with principal QA/RA direction across all market fronts.
  • Support accounts receivable objectives for assigned countries.
  • Lead cross-territory and turnkey projects with manufacturers and trading companies to expand intercompany sales opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market intelligence across the region to support product and pricing strategies and expand Olympus market share.
  • Provide regular updates to management on customer risk, opportunities, development, and market direction.
  • Submit monthly travel and activity reports, as well as sales and order forecasts and prospect tracking lists.
  • Support regional sales operations efficiency through process improvements and key process controls.
  • Contribute to local and regional transformation projects and policy development for APAC.
  • Perform other related duties as needed to support business objectives.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales channel management, distributor management, and pipeline management across SEA and South Asia.
  • Experience in medical devices sales is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen, with analytical skills in marketing and business analysis.
  • Demonstrated capability in channel sales management, particularly distributor management.
  • Experience in new account development, key account management for capital sales, and a service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong initiative and a team-focused mindset.
