Responsibilities:
Strategy and insights
Business management including communication, stakeholder management and budgeting:
Drive external communication such as board decks for strategy and roadmap presentation, commentaries for the quarterly announcement, investor decks, risk committee decks, and others
Prepare related material as a briefing for CTO prior to external communication
Work with finance and LT to define Budget and ensuring key strategies or initiatives are aligned with Budget
Understand the key assumptions made by other departments and provide recommendations if any change associated with SHINE is required
Assess the Budget or forecast made and provide recommendations based on market understanding
Guide the team to ensure proper mitigation plans are developed to address the Budget key risks
Work with the leaders to ensure Budget or transformation plans are on track
Ensure proper engagement of stakeholders for SHINE agenda to ensure buy-in and successful execution.
Develop, plan and manage the Business Management cadence for SHINE, consisting of Staff meetings, Quarterly Leadership Meetings, and other ongoing meetings such as Division Townhalls, as needed to ensure key topics are addressed at the appropriate venue
Collate and create business performance metrics for management reporting/presentations.
Collaborate with HR and leaders to keep the overall SHINE team updated with SHINEs progress and key strategies to drive the team towards the same goal and vision
Track action items from the meetings for completion
PMO
Kick start projects tracking to drive towards achieving SHINE KPIs
Ensure proper project plans are developed by the project team to achieve the desired outcome and timeline
Review key projects across departments in SHINE to ensure alignment and no over-lap
Regular review of project plans, action plans with project owners and LT
Anticipate key roadblocks and share views with leaders to address the roadblocks
Track completion and achievement of business objective
Call out risk and propose mitigation plans
Operations
Collaborate effectively with various SHINE stakeholders on critical operational activities that are impacting the strategy execution
Drive agile delivery of key initiatives to ensure faster go-to-market and promote agile mindset amongst members
Ensure governance and proper processes are in place for key items such as vendors and tender review, CAPEX approval, pricing committee, and others
Drive operation collaboration amongst SHINE departments by ensuring leaders are aware and aligned on next steps
Requirements:
Tertiary Education in Business Administration, Data Analytics or related field
10 to 12 years of Project Management preferably in medium to large scale complex projects eg Tech stack integration, Cloud migration transformation and/or Security enablement
Candidate who is certified in Project Management such as CITPM/PMP with practical experience of Project management methodology is preferred
Hands-on experience and good understanding of Agile, Scrum or Design Thinking methodologies
Candidate with related technical / Telco industry experience would have an added advantage
Knowledge in technologies and application HR, Finance, Data Warehouse and Analytics
Experience in tender / RFQ / RFP processes, negotiation and contract matters preferred
About the role
Reporting to SHINE CTO, the position is responsible in defining the vision, strategy for SHINE and draw alignment amongst the leaders to execute defined strategy, roadmap and any operational changes.
Operate as SHINE PMO office, ensuring timely delivery of all SHINE projects
Lead and drive project meetings, reporting of SHINE BPR, QBR meetings and preparation of board meeting materials
Build bridges across all functional units in StarHub and external stakeholders to ensure buy-in for key strategies
Promote visibility and accessibility amongst departments to ensure information flow is effective and decision making is efficient
