Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents to support competitive M&E contract bids
• Analyze and review subcontractor and supplier quotations and tenders to ensure accuracy and value for projects
• Source and evaluate equipment and materials quotations to procure fit-for-use resources aligned with project requirements
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to arrange timely delivery of products and services, ensuring successful project execution
• Manage contract administration and claims processes to maintain compliance and mitigate project risks
• Capture and document variation orders across multiple projects to maintain accurate and up-to-date project records
• Negotiate and manage contractual terms and variations with clients, subcontractors, and service providers to protect project interests
• Prepare quotations and tender submissions aligned with project requirements and company standards
• Compile material submissions for approval to meet project specifications and regulatory requirements
• Prepare Operation & Maintenance Manuals to support project handover and enhance client satisfaction

Requirement

• 5 to 10 years of experience in the construction industry in Singapore, particularly in M&E services
• Experience and knowledge of M&E services and systems
• Knowledge of relevant service providers in the Singapore market
• Read and interpret project specifications, drawings, and contract scope of works to ensure accurate project delivery
• Apply knowledge of Building Code of Practice and BCA Greenmark requirements in Singapore to ensure regulatory compliance
• Read and understand architectural, structural, and BIM drawings to support project coordination
• Perform basic AutoCAD sketches to assist in project documentation and planning
• Conduct hydraulic calculations (air/water) to support system design and project requirements
• Communicate effectively and negotiate with stakeholders to facilitate project progress and resolve issues
