Senior/ Logistics Executive

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operational contact for internal sales affiliates, coordinating order information and shipment needs.
• Monitor sales and purchase orders, identifying demand patterns and proactively addressing discrepancies and operational issues.
• Maintain accurate records and produce regular status reports on orders and shipments for internal stakeholders.
• Book and manage shipments with freight forwarders and carriers across various transport modes, negotiating rates to ensure cost efficiency.
• Track shipments thoroughly and resolve any delays or discrepancies promptly.
• Evaluate and select carriers based on defined criteria, maintaining an up-to-date approved carrier list.
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations, customs requirements, and Incoterms, and coordinate the resolution of complex cargo claims.
• Undertake any additional duties as directed by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in freight or logistics coordination for the Executive position 5 to 8 years for the Senior Executive position.
• Experience in an international trading environment preferred, with strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and identify service growth opportunities.
• Knowledge of marine cargo insurance and claims handling, as well as familiarity with Incoterms 2020.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office experience with SAP (HANA) or SAP Business One is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple shipments under tight deadlines.
• A proactive, reliable, and service-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business.
