about the job

• Provide strategic legal guidance on regulatory, operational, and commercial matters.

• Review, draft, and negotiate financial and corporate contracts, agreements and documentation.

• Provide timely and reliable legal advice to the business on legal risks arising from transactions

• Manage disputes and liaise with external legal advisors on corporate matters.

• Support internal policy development and drive corporate governance initiatives across business units.

skills and experience required

• Bachelor of Laws from a reputable institution and qualified to practice law.

• Minimum 15 years of post-qualification legal experience within financial services or a top-tier firm.

• Sound knowledge of banking frameworks, financial regulations, and corporate law.

• Effective stakeholder management capabilities to engage with diverse corporate teams.
