A global leader in critical infrastructure and technology solutions is looking for a Senior Legal Leader to oversee legal operations across Asia. This role will act as a strategic business partner to regional leadership, supporting commercial growth while managing legal, compliance, governance, and risk matters across multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead legal operations across Asia, covering commercial, compliance, governance, and regulatory matters
- Advise regional leadership on strategic legal and business decisions
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements
- Oversee litigation, dispute resolution, corporate governance, and external counsel management
- Support cross-border business activities, M&A, and multi-jurisdictional transactions
- Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks impacting the business
- Build scalable legal processes and improve operational effectiveness
- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders across the region
Requirements:
- Law degree / JD qualification
- 15+ years of legal experience in-house or in private practice with strong regional exposure
- Strong background in commercial contracts, compliance, governance, and legal advisory
- Experience supporting multinational or cross-border operations in Asia
- Strategic mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance commercial objectives with legal risk management
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
