Senior Legal Counsel, Investment Management

We are partnering with a leading international investment organisation to identify an experienced legal professional to support a broad range of commercial, corporate and investment-related matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Working closely with business and investment stakeholders, the successful candidate will provide pragmatic legal advice on strategic initiatives, commercial arrangements, governance matters and investment activities, while helping to manage legal and regulatory risk in a dynamic, global environment.

Key Responsibilities of this Senior Legal Counsel, Investment Management

• Provide legal support on a broad range of commercial, corporate and investment-related matters.
• Advise stakeholders on legal, regulatory and governance considerations.
• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements and transaction documents.
• Support strategic projects, business initiatives and cross-border activities.
• Manage relationships with external counsel and other professional advisers.
• Partner with teams across multiple functions and jurisdictions to facilitate business objectives.

Requirements of this Senior Legal Counsel, Investment Management

• Qualified lawyer with relevant post-qualification experience.
• Experience gained within a law firm, financial services institution, investment platform, asset manager or multinational organisation.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
