Provide advice on PDPA, Employment Act and other regulatory compliance matters
Handle complex matters which contributes significantly to decision-making within a dynamic business environment involving multiple stakeholders
Procurement Contracts
Provide end-to-end legal support for Government procurement contracts, from pre-tender advisory through post-award contract management.
Advise on procurement strategies, tender structures and risk allocation.
Draft, review, and negotiate procurement contracts, including master agreements, schedules, service-level agreements and performance frameworks.
Advise on contract variations, extensions, waivers, termination, remedies and claims, ensuring compliance with approval and audit requirements.
Support resolution of vendor disputes and performance issues in collaboration with procurement, finance and operational teams.
Job Requirements
Degree in Law from NUS, SMU, SUSS or scheduled universities under the Legal Profession (Qualified Persons) Rules with at least 10 years post qualification experience and 3 years in managerial capacity (prior in-house legal experience would be preferred)
Admitted to the Singapore Bar
Experience in Government procurement contracting and governance.
Experience in senior legal roles which provided critical legal advice to the Senior Management team in governance and risk matters to support organizational and business decision-making
Self-motivated team player with ability to work under pressure and independently
Strong abilities in conceptualising and implementing governance and risk management frameworks, legal drafting and commercial savviness are pre-requisites
Ability to engage and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Able to work independently, prioritise, and follow through on multiple, concurrent, and often competing deliverables, while managing expectations of the business and meeting deadlines
