We are seeking a bright, commercially minded Corporate Lawyer with strong Mergers & Acquisitions experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be a smart senior associate (approximately 5 years PQE posttraining contract) currently working at, or trained in, a large international or top-tier law firm.
This role will support complex corporate transactions, strategic investments, and cross-border deals, and requires strong lateral thinking, commercial awareness, and the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
- Advise on M&A transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and strategic investments
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documentation (SPAs, shareholders agreements, joint venture agreements, etc.)
- Conduct and manage legal due diligence and coordinate with external counsel
- Provide corporate governance and structuring advice for complex transactions
- Work with internal business teams and senior management on deal strategy and risk assessment
- Support cross-border transactions and coordinate with international legal advisers
- Assist in transaction execution and closing processes
- Provide legal support on general corporate matters
Required Qualifications :
- Qualified lawyer in a common law jurisdiction (e.g., UK, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, etc.)
- 5 years PQE following completion of a training contract
- Current or recent experience at a top-tier / international law firm
- Strong M&A transaction experience
- Demonstrated ability to think laterally and solve complex legal and commercial issues
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- 5 PQE Senior Associate at a Magic Circle / international / top-tier firm
