Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team to drive asset management strategies for a commercial portfolio, enhancing tenant relations and optimizing portfolio performance. This role offers a chance to significantly impact revenue and tenant satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize revenue by supporting strategic business plans aimed at increasing portfolio income. Maintain full occupancy by acquiring new, replacing, or renewing tenants to minimize vacancies. Achieve competitive rental rates and favorable lease terms in tenant agreements. Build and sustain relationships with assigned tenants, ensuring fulfillment of lease obligations, including timely payments and addressing queries or concerns. Engage with shareholders representatives to foster strong professional relationships. Collaborate with external consultants, such as legal advisors and real estate surveyors, to enhance operational efficiency. Organize formal and informal networking events to strengthen community ties. Negotiate leasing agreements and oversee the execution of leasing documents from inquiry through to completion. Ensure efficient departmental workflows and information sharing, including market research and rental competition data. Maintain organized documentation and ensure the safeguarding of files and information. Work closely with facilities management and finance teams to support seamless operations and enhance tenant experiences. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote portfolio branding and leasing opportunities. Assist in the planning and review of budgetary aspects, including rental revenue and operational costs. Prepare necessary reports for management and shareholders, ensuring timely submission and attendance in relevant meetings. Develop processes to ensure compliance with audit findings and improve governance standards. Contribute as a team player by enhancing the skills of department executives and participating in departmental activities.

Requirements

  • Degree in Real Estate or a related field. At least 3 to 4 years of leasing management experience with Grade A commercial properties, suitable for the Assistant Leasing Manager role. Possession of CEA salesperson's license is mandatory. Experience managing multinational corporations or corporate accounts is advantageous. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience in leading and guiding junior executives is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills with a pleasant demeanor.
