What You'll Be Doing

1. Build Smart ApplicationsYou'll design and develop cloud-native applications usingCAP or RAP, leveragingSAP Business Application Studio. Whether it's Java, Node.js, Python, or ABAP-you'll use your coding skills to bring business logic to life.

2. Create Engaging User InterfacesYou'll craft intuitive frontends usingSAP UI5,JavaScript, andOData/REST APIs. Your work will directly impact how users interact with enterprise systems-making their experience seamless and efficient.

3. Integrate with BTP ServicesYou'll work hands-on withIntegration Suite (CPI),Event Mesh, andAPI Managementto build event-driven architectures and scalable integrations. You'll also get exposure to services likeHANA Cloud,SAP Build, andSteampunk.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven hands-on experience withSAP BTP application development, specifically usingCAP (Cloud Application Programming)orRAP (Restful Application Programming)models.

• Strong proficiency inSAP Business Application Studioand development usingJava,Node.js,Python, orABAP.

• Solid understanding ofSAP UI5,JavaScript,HTML/CSS, andOData/REST APIsfor frontend development.

• Demonstrated experience withIntegration Suite (CPI), including designing and deployingiFlows.

• Practical knowledge ofAPI Management (APIM)andEvent Meshfor event-driven architectures.

• Hands-on experience with at leasttwo SAP BTP services(e.g., HANA Cloud, SAP Build, Steampunk).

• Familiarity withenterprise-grade application deliveryandcloud-native architectures.

• Ability to work effectively incross-functional teamsand deliver in collaborative environments.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience inleading application development teamsor mentoring junior developers.

• Exposure toAgile methodologiesand DevOps practices within SAP environments.

• SAP certifications related toBTP,CAP/RAP, orIntegration Suite.

• Prior experience inconsulting roleswith direct client engagement and solution delivery.

• Knowledge ofsecurity best practicesin SAP BTP applications (without being focused on platform-level security).
