We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Lead HR & Admin Executive / Assistant HR Manager to oversee and support the company's human resources and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in aligning HR strategies with organizational goals, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with management and staff across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources (HR)
- Lead and manage HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, and performance management.
- Partner with management to develop HR policies, procedures, and frameworks that support business objectives.
- Drive talent acquisition strategies, including job postings, shortlisting, interviews, and selection.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle: hiring, confirmation, appraisals, promotions, and exits.
- Oversee employee engagement initiatives, training and development programs, and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Handle workplace grievances and disciplinary matters professionally and confidentially.
Administration
- Supervise office administration, facilities management, and vendor coordination.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations including office supplies, travel arrangements, and general services.
- Maintain proper HR and admin documentation, contracts, and company records.
- Support management in budgeting for HR & admin activities (e.g., recruitment, training, events).
Leadership & Strategy
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on HR and organizational matters.
- Assist in workforce planning, organizational restructuring, and change management initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior HR/admin staff.
- Contribute to the company's culture-building, diversity, and inclusion efforts.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field (HR certifications like SHRM/CHRP a plus).
- Experience: At least 5-8 years of progressive HR & Admin experience, with minimum 2 years in a supervisory/lead role.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labour laws, payroll systems, and HRMS tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels.
