JOB DESCRIPTION
To develop Accommodation/HVAC Basis of Design,General Arrangement/Layout, etc. andensuring compliance with project design philosophies, standards, procedures,and specifications. Overseeing all accommodation/HVAC engineering activities, prepare for and participatein HAZID/HAZOP, review of 3-D model,review/check of Engineering Subcontractors engineering deliverables, manage/control technical queries, interface information, RFQ (Request for Quotation) package preparation, Technical and Commercial evaluations of Vendor's quotations, etc.
Knowledge of offshore and marine codes, API ASME, IMO, ILO, ISO/EN Standards, SOLAS/LSA, MLC 2006, STCW, OCIMF,international regulations, industry best design practices and Class Rules/Guidelines.
Supervise the manufacturing, installation, and operation of accommodation, outfitting and HVAC to ensure they meet specifications and codes. To develop ITPs, inspection checklists, FAT/HAT procedures and reports and commissioning plans.
Knowledge of technical bid proposal assessment of equipment suppliers and providing recommendation for procurement.Collaborate with other team members specifically with the Client team members in resolving mechanical equipment design issues, interfacing with the Client/Class as needed.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
Minimum 10 Years in mechanical/marine equipment engineering and accommodation/living quarter design, outfitting for offshore/marine projects work within the oil & gas industry especially for F(P)SO or floating installations. At least 5 years of this experience should be specifically in offshore oil & gas processing projects, including work on F(P)SO. Software Experience in SOLIDWORKS/AutoCAD/AVEVA/VB-Script/Microsoft Office is required.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
Bachelor's/master's degree in Naval Architecture/ Marine/Mechanical Engineering
