SENIOR LARGEPRINT DTP ARTIST

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Execute desktop publishing (DTP) for digital print jobs for the Large-format Dept

- Check supplied artwork against specifications provided. Provide a print feasibility report (resolution, size, joining etc). Provide corrective actions as needed

- Arrange the casting of colour proofs. Manage and QC colours before printing

- Create samples and mockups. Ensure feasibility before production

- Ensure all work produced is technically correct to result in high-quality prints

- Manage jobs and installation projects by studying and organising briefs and requirements, sourcing and material acquisition, and outsourcing

- Ensure risk management all resources are in place for all work to be executed efficiently

- Input and maintain production data and the archiving of Proof of Work

- Meeting tight deadline for URGENT WORK

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Min 4 years of work experience in related field
• Ability to organize, prioritize and schedule work assignments
• Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work under pressure and meet all deadlines
• Possess positive learning attitude
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Responsible in converting final artworks for printing
• Perform colour corrections on artwork
