- Responsible for conducting of laboratory tests and samples and quality inspections assigned to them by the Supervisor.
- Expected to be knowledgeable on all equipment operating procedures as well as all quality control procedures and competent on the use of laboratory equipment.
- Raw material process and finished product quality control analysis
- Advance maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of assigned laboratory equipment
- Maintenance of chemicals and consumables inventory, preparation and standardization of chemical reagents and waste management.
- Maintenance of quality records and development of quality procedures
- Calibration of equipment
- Conduct and contribute to risk assessment, Quality Procedures and Decision making on quality & maintenance
- Procurement of materials and budget controls
- Implementing QA & Safety Activities
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Atleast 8 years experience in conducting Manual Wet Chemistry or Manual Lab Testing is advantageous.
- Experienced in Petrochemical, Oil&Gas and Chemical industries is advantageous.
- Good understanding of laboratory equipment such as GC, AAS, Auto-titrator, NIR, GC, ICP, GC-MS, Antek, KF, IR, UV, Extruder, DSC etc.
- SAP & LIMS experience is advantage.
- Experience pin polymer testing and analytical techniques.
- Ability to work independently under pressure in a very fast pace Chemical Manufacturing QC environment and meet tight deadlines.
