about the job
We're looking for a Senior Java Engineer to lead the architecture design for distributed systems handling over 10 million in traffic. In this role, you'll be building cloud-native services and driving AI-powered refactoring of business modules. You'll also integrate AI capabilities, such as RAG and recommendation systems, at the application layer and solve core challenges related to high-concurrency. A key part of the role involves optimizing distributed storage and microservice governance, as well as applying AI coding tools to improve code quality and CI/CD pipelines.

skills and experience required

• Minimum 5 years of Java development experience, with expertise in high-concurrency architecture.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Mandarin speaking required as you need to liaise with Chinese counterparts who can only speak and write in Mandarin
• Experience with different cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Alibaba Cloud) and cloud-native stacks (K8s, Docker).
• Led 3+ mid- to large-scale projects and have a strong ability in business abstraction.
• Experience in AI application-layer development, including LLM API integration and RAG systems.
• Familiarity with engineering practices for AI tools (Copilot, JetBrains AI) is a plus.
• A background in intelligent systems like recommendation, risk control, or voice interaction is preferred.
