Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Microservices / Backend Developer to support an engagement with a leading banking customer in Singapore.

The resource should have strong hands-on Java backend development experience with expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, databases, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices.

  1. Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+, including:
  • Concurrency and Multithreading
  • Collections Framework
  • JVM Internals and Performance Optimization
  • Functional Programming
  1. Strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining Java/Spring applications, including:
  • Spring Boot
  • Spring MVC
  • Spring Data JPA
  • RESTful APIs
  • Event-Driven Architectures
  1. Proven experience building and operating Microservices architectures, including service decomposition, resilience, scalability, and observability.

Strong understanding of OOAD, Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, and Clean Architecture
