Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance trading capabilities on the Calypso platform for Fixed Income &Derivatives.
- Deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Java-based solutions aligned with global design standards.
- Provide L3 production support, troubleshoot incidents, and contribute to the Follow the Sun support model.
- Collaborate with global teams to implement new features and support ongoing platform enhancements.
- Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and capacity planning activities.
- Integrate Calypso within-house and external systems across the FICC ecosystem.
- Contribute to global project initiatives and ensure alignment with long-term technology strategy.
- Gather and translate APAC business requirements into technical solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of strong Java development experience (Java 8+).
- Hands-on experience inbuilding distributed systems, multithreading, and JVM tuning.
- Solid experience with SQL and Oracle databases.
- Proficiency in Linux (RedHat or similar environments).
- Experience with messaging systems (e.g., MQ).
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in production support environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
