We are seeking a hands-onperson who can oversee daily IT operations while driving infrastructure improvements and digital initiatives. The Senior IT Support Engineer will support end-users, and align IT projects with business growth across regional offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day IT operations, troubleshooting, and helpdesk support.
- Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VPN, and firewalls.
- Manage IT infrastructure, data backup, and ensure network & cybersecurity compliance.
- Coordinate and liaise with external consultants/vendors for efficient cyber/network system operation.
- Drive IT improvement projects including ERP enhancement, cloud migration, virtualization, AI integration, and endpoint management.
- Maintain strict data security and confidentiality across all systems and access levels.
- Oversee IT asset procurement, inventory, documentation, and vendor management.
- Liaise with senior management to align IT strategies with business directions.
- Supervise, guide, and develop IT team members, including setting SOPs and performance standards.
- Prepare and manage IT budgets, cost control, and operational expenditure.
- Conduct annual IT strategic planning in-line with corporate goals.
Requirements:
- Degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of IT support / infrastructure experience with supervisory exposure.
- Strong hands-on knowledge in Microsoft 365, Windows Server, VPN, and Firewalls.
- Familiar with VMware, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or AliCloud), and ERP systems.
- Good understanding of manufacturing and finance workflows and their integration with ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with users and support teams based in China.
- Proactive, organized, and able to balance both strategic and operational responsibilities.
