Independently gather, analyze, and translate complex business requirements from users into detailed technical specifications, process flows, and comprehensive solution designs that align with the overall system architecture.
Contribute to architectural design decisions by ensuring proposed solutions leverage appropriate cloud-native components and services, such as Node.js microservices and APIs, event-driven services using Google Pub/Sub, and API governance via Apigee, aligning with architectural best practices.
Hands-on Technical Development & Implementation:
Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, clean, and efficient application code, system enhancements, and integrations based on approved technical designs.
Actively implement and maintain cloud-native applications and microservices, including Node.js-based services with a solid grasp of asynchronous programming principles, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures (e.g., using Google Pub/Sub).
Ensure all development strictly adheres to established coding standards, security guidelines, and architectural best practices, contributing to robust API governance and monitoring via tools like Google Apigee.
Support the implementation and operational use of modern CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments (e.g., GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Build), and leverage Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) for automated builds and deployments.
Conduct deep-dive technical investigations and debugging for complex application defects and production incidents, taking direct ownership of resolution.
Perform direct analysis of code, system logs, data flows, and observability tools (e.g., for logging, metrics, and tracing) to accurately identify root causes.
Design, develop, and implement robust, preventative fixes and patches to ensure system stability and improve overall system resilience and performance.
Quality Assurance & Technical Review:
Actively participate in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback to enforce coding standards, improve performance, and ensure adherence to security guidelines and architectural principles.
Collaborate closely with QA teams and business users to prepare comprehensive test scenarios, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validate the high quality and fitness-for-purpose of delivered solutions.
Stakeholder Communication & Technical Documentation:
Serve as a key technical liaison, effectively communicating complex technical concepts and solutions to both business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment and understanding.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including detailed solution designs, system configurations, support guides (SOPs), process flows, and API specifications, ensuring clarity and transparency for ongoing support and development.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is typically a minimum requirement.
