Senior IT SAP Engineer (APO)

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end execution of complex SAP initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and global standards.
• Deliver high-quality 3rd-level support for international SAP environments to ensure reliability and performance.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions through analysis, concept development, and technical specifications.
• Implement innovative solutions using the latest SAP technologies, via custom development or advanced configuration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and business units to optimise system performance and user experience.
• Define requirements and manage external vendors/partners to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Prepare training materials and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to enable internal teams and end users.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process optimisation, cost reduction, and system enhancements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a global or complex enterprise environment.
• Proven track record in SAP project delivery and support.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ABAP Workbench.
• Configuration knowledge in one or more of the following modules: PP/APO, PLM, QM, or BW.
• Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with DevOps practices is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and lead initiatives.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for technology and innovation.
