Senior / IT Engineer (Fab Support)

Brief Summary

We seek a dedicated individual to enhance and support automated applications within a dynamic production environment. This role involves troubleshooting, development, and collaboration to optimize system functionality.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and improve assigned Shop Floor Automation (SFA) applications and components. Provide Level 1 & 2 support for the reliable operation of production lines on a 24/7 basis. Collaborate with IT teams to enhance system response times and ensure maximum availability. Gather requirements to develop and deploy new versions of SFA applications, particularly Equipment Manager automation solutions. Document all requirements and manage enhancement coordination for designated applications. Plan and conduct training sessions for users of assigned applications. Engage with various sections and departments to identify opportunities for productivity improvements and cost reductions.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent fields with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Equipment Manager Automation solutions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficient in SQL with Oracle. Familiarity with MES, TIB/RV, SECS (SEMI Equipment Communication Standard), Tibco (TIB/RV), ZNT PAC development, and CIM products such as SPC and RMS is advantageous. Experience in executing fab automation project cycles within a high-technology manufacturing environment.
