We are seeking a Highly Skilled and Experienced Senior Investment & Research Analyst to join Our Single Family Office!
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis on markets, industries, companies, and competitors to generate actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
1. Market and Investment Research
- Conduct market sizing, industry trend analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
- Analyze industry trends, market dynamics and emerging opportunities
- Identify macroeconomic and sector-specific drivers affecting investment opportunities.
2. Company Data Collection & Financial Analysis
- Gather primary and secondary data from reliable sources to analyze financial statements, ratios, and performance metrics.
- Build financial models to evaluate company valuations.
- Track publicly listed and private companies for potential investment.
3. Investment Evaluation
- Screen and assess investment opportunities across asset classes.
- Perform due diligence, risk assessments, and scenario analysis.
- Support in preparing investment memos and recommendations for internal committees.
4. Report Writing & Communication
- Prepare comprehensive investment reports, pitchbooks, and presentations.
- Summarize research insights and investment rationales for stakeholders.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with strategy, legal, and business development teams on deal structuring and execution.
- Liaise with external advisors, consultants, and data providers as needed.
6. Tools & Database Management
- Use research tools, databases, and analytics platforms to enhance research quality.
- Maintain a well-organized archive of research materials and investment documentation.
7. Stay Updated
- Keep abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic trends.
- Identify and evaluate new sources of research and data
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Research Skills
- Strong ability to gather, analyze and interpret data.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in tools like Excel, Power BI, SPSS, or similar analytics software.
Communication Skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills for creating reports and presenting findings.
Critical Thinking
- Ability to identify patterns, draw conclusions, and recommend strategies.
Time Management
- Capable of managing multiple research projects under tight deadlines.
Years of Experience
- Minimum 5 years in similar role
Others
- Candidates who possess ACCA or CFA Level 3, come with a strong background in Private Equity, particularly in renewable energy, health and wellness, real estate, and investment analysis, along with expertise in market research and financial modelling, will be considered ideal for the role.
