We are partnering with a leading regional platform to hire a Senior Analyst / Associate within their M&A and strategic investments team. This role offers exposure to end-to-end deal execution and evaluation across infrastructure, technology and capital-intensive sectors in Asia.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders on transaction execution, investment analysis and strategic initiatives, supporting inorganic growth and capital deployment across the platform.
Key Responsibilities
M&A Execution
- Support end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, including acquisitions, divestments and strategic investments
- Assist in managing due diligence processes across financial, commercial and legal workstreams
- Coordinate with external advisors (banks, consultants, legal counsel) throughout transaction lifecycle
- Prepare investment materials, presentations and internal approval papers
Investment Evaluation & Financial Analysis
- Build and maintain financial models (valuation, DCF, comparable analysis, transaction structuring)
- Evaluate potential investment opportunities, including minority stakes and joint ventures
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess risks and returns
- Support structuring discussions and deal negotiations
Strategic & Market Analysis
- Conduct industry research and market mapping across relevant sectors
- Analyse competitive landscape and identify potential acquisition or partnership opportunities
- Support strategic reviews, including portfolio optimisation and growth initiatives
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across strategy, finance and business units
- Support interactions with portfolio companies and joint venture partners
- Assist in aligning internal stakeholders on deal rationale and execution
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in investment banking (M&A), private equity, corporate development or transaction advisory
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skillset
- Experience supporting cross-border transactions preferred
- Exposure to infrastructure, telecom, technology or capital-intensive sectors is advantageous
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
