About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative professional who is confident in a client-facing position and has proven experience leading and running projects from beginning to end. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality design solutions while managing client relationships and guiding projects through all stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage interior design projects from initial concept through to completion
- Act as the primary client-facing contact, building strong relationships and managing expectations
- Understand client requirements and translate them into creative and practical design solutions
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, space planning, and detailed documentation
- Prepare drawings and 3D visualisations
- Present design proposals to clients and incorporate feedback effectively
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design intent is achieved
- Mentor and guide junior designers to maintain high design standards
- Source and specify materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting, FFE Selections and have an eye for the material selections
Requirements:
- Degree in Interior Design or related field
- Minimum 10+ years of experience, with strong experience in client-facing roles and end-to-end project delivery
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD (mandatory), SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
- Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials, and regulations
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Desirable:
- Mandarin language proficiency is highly regarded, given our work across Asia and international client base.
