Role Overview
The Executive Creative Director (ECD) is the visionary Face of the Region, responsible for the creative excellence and strategic growth of the APAC market. Based in Singapore, you will lead and manage a team of Creative Directors overseeing our market chapters across ANZ, SEA, GCN, JKR and IMEA. As a key partner to senior management and global clients, you will translate brand strategies into scalable, high-impact campaigns across brand experiences, integrated marketing, and e-commerce.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Leadership & Management Insights
- Provide high-level strategic insights to management by seeing the big picture of the APAC creative landscape.
- Serve as the Face of the Region for both internal stakeholders and external global key clients.
- Directly supervise, evaluate, and coordinate the work functions of Creative Directors in multiple markets.
- Foster a culture of team building, motivation, and consensus building across diverse geographic locations.
Growth & Business Development
- Drive revenue and growth through proactive Business Development and participation in high-stakes pitching.
- Partner with global key clients to ensure their brand strategy is effectively localized and executed across the region.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to build compelling presentations for new business proposals.
Scalability & Creative Strategy
- Spearhead scalability projects to ensure creative processes can be efficiently replicated and expanded across the region.
- Lead the development of multi-market campaigns, moving from simple brand experiences to fully integrated marketing and e-commerce solutions.
- Oversee regional creative strategy to ensure it enables an effective response to client briefs.
- Ensure all creative work is completed within time and on budget while meeting or exceeding client expectations for repeat business.
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- Market Expertise: 10+ years of creative leadership experience, with a deep understanding of the APAC market and multi-market campaign building.
- Mandatory: Proven track record in creating successful brand and marketing campaigns that perform across APAC markets
- Creative Focus: Extensive experience in retail packaging, point-of-purchase, and digital/e-commerce trends.
Technical & Language Skills
- Software Mastery: Extensive experience with the latest Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) and MS Office.
- Language Ability: Fluent in written and spoken English to effectively manage regional stakeholders.
