Job Description

Role & Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

Lead all phases of assigned projects, including space planning, design development, and detailing.
Work closely with the Design Director and project teams to ensure designs align with contractual requirements and client expectations.
Assist with coordination among consultants, clients, and project stakeholders when needed.
Produce full sets of tender and construction drawings/specifications in collaboration with the project team.
Ensure timely delivery of project assignments within established deadlines.
Review shop drawings, samples, strike-offs, and materials for compliance with design intent and specifications.
Participate in project meetings and client presentations as required.
Travel internationally for project presentations, coordination meetings, and site visits when necessary.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with flexibility and strong organizational skills.
Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to junior team members to support their professional growth.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree/Postgraduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Interior Design or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury hospitality projects (hospitality background is a must).
Strong skills in concept design and detailed documentation.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to handle project schedules, correspondence, and strict deadlines.
Excellent presentation skills; meticulous, creative, motivated, and a strong team player with a positive working attitude.
Experience working with international hotel operators and consultants is highly desirable.
Fluency in English (oral & written) is required; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates).
Experience managing luxury hospitality or F&B projects in China will be a strong advantage.
