Senior Interfaces Analyst

Job description:

We are looking for experienced Senior Interfaces Analysts for Epic's software in connection with the implementation of Epic's integrated suite of healthcare software. You will provide analysis for, expertise in, and technical assistance with the creation and maintenance of an electronic data interchange (EDI) system to facilitate the transfer of information between the customer's current (non-Epic) software systems and their Epic applications. You will be responsible for EDI system analysis and design, as well as development, implementation, support, testing and troubleshooting of the interfaces that allow Epic's customers to transfer data between their software systems.

Job requirements:

. Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, math, information systems or a related field

. 2+ years of experience in technical project management, including design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of interfaces to Epic software. Must have supported an Epic software go-live or upgrade.

. Hold appropriate Epic certifications in:

• Bridges Interface application
• A major Epic software application
• Chronicles and Cache programming

Skills and competencies:

• Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills
• Hold strong project management competencies including team coordination and problem solving skills
• Pass Epic's standard pre-hire assessment test for the role
• Demonstrated judgment in handling escalations
