Senior Insurance Broker

Job Description

• Responsible for the profitable growth and development of business through brokers
• Maintain and develop customer relations
• Develop and manage Broker schemes
• Monitor underwriting trends and results
• Ensure risks are accepted and underwritten in accordance with the Company's Risk Management and Reinsurance guidelines
• Undertake credit control ensuring standard for debtor days are strictly adhered to
• Provide a technical reference point for queries
• Ensure maximum efficient and effectiveness in work processes within the department
• Provide guidance and training for staff & teambuilding
• Undertake any other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification and /or professional insurance qualifications
• Operations experience in sales and servicing of business through insurance brokers
• Business analysis
• Conceptual capability
• Marketing
• Relationship building
• Portfolio Management
• Singapore Insurance market
• Underwriting knowledge
