We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead and modernize the company's IT infrastructure through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)and automation. You will design, implement, and maintain critical systems, ensuring high availability, reliability, and scalability. This is a senior role where you'll take ownership of infrastructure architecture, drive automation initiatives, and influence operational best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of core infrastructure: OS, network, storage, backup, and virtualization
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) frameworks to automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment
- Drive system integration, testing, performance tuning, and operational improvements
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and configuration baselines
- Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless solution delivery
- Participate in 247 on-call rotation for mission-critical systems
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or automation/DevOps roles
- Strong foundation in infrastructure technologies (OS, networking, virtualization, storage, backup, security)
- Hands-on experience with IaC/automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent)
- Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
- Experience with Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) and Windows Server environments
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, OVM)
- Strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred:
- Experience with mission-critical or high-security systems
- Exposure to multi-tier, highly available infrastructure architectures
