Senior Information Technology Security Officer

WE'RE HIRING | IT Security Officer (ITSO) – Singapore

We are looking for 1 IT Security Officer (ITSO) to join a Government Technology Stack (SGTS / GovTech) platform project in Singapore.

If you have experience in security architecture, threat modelling, SIEM, EDR, cloud security, Kubernetes, CI/CD security, and incident response, we would love to hear from you!

Role: IT Security Officer (ITSO)

Location: Punggol Digital District, Singapore

Engagement: 12 Months

Start: ASAP

Eligibility: Singapore Citizen / Singapore PR

Budget: Up to SGD 6,700/month

Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Laptop: Contractor to provide a macOS device

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cybersecurity operational reporting, dashboarding and automation

• Review and validate VAPT / vulnerability assessment findings

• Support vulnerability remediation planning

• Refine incident response playbooks and runbooks

• Participate in threat modelling and security requirements analysis

• Perform periodic IAM role reviews and support least-privilege access

• Apply security controls across CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes and cloud environments

• Perform SIEM alert triage and support security investigations

• Assist with detection rules, threat hunting and incident response

• Conduct security testing and contribute to POCs

• Use code and cloud security analysis tools to identify and remediate findings

• Research emerging cybersecurity tools and technologies

• Collaborate with engineering, security and business stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Knowledge of security architecture & secure system design

Understanding of threat modelling and vulnerability management

Experience/familiarity with CI/CD & Kubernetes security

Exposure to SIEM, EDR and cloud-native security monitoring

Understanding of incident response, detection logic & threat hunting

Scripting/automation skills using Python or Bash

Knowledge of IAM, secrets management & Zero Trust principles

Familiarity with cloud security concepts

Exposure to developer-centric security tools, AI workflows or coding assistants is an advantage

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders

Education & Certifications

Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Desirable Certifications:

OSCP

CISSP

Other relevant cybersecurity certifications
