Summary:
The Senior IT Project Manager will lead digital transformation initiatives for a global financial institutions Payments and Cash Management IT team. This role involves developing and implementing digitalization strategies, managing cross-functional projects, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder management, change management, and risk mitigation, while promoting digital literacy and innovation.
Requirements:
- Develop and implement digital transformation strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Lead cross-functional project teams to design, develop, and deploy digital solutions, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Own the planning and development of the IT Delivery Roadmap, monitoring execution from end-to-end.
- Manage stakeholder communication at all levels, including senior leadership, employees, customers, and vendors.
- Develop and implement change management plans for smooth transitions to new digital processes and systems.
- Optimize IT project delivery resource capacity and align deployment windows with Application Production Support.
- Support the Domain Head and/or Programme Manager on budget matters.
- Promote digital literacy through training and support for employees.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with digitalization initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Establish and track KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage vendors and drive RFPs for new solutions as required.
- Ensure project and program deliverables adhere to corporate governance and processes.
- Collaborate with fellow Project Managers to align key departmental objectives and escalate issues as needed.
- Participate in studies and methodologies adopted by the department.
Qualifications:
- At least 12 years of experience in project management, preferably in digital transformation.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale Cash Management & Payments IT or transformation projects.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Familiarity with cash management, payment market infrastructure, systems, products, and industry standards in APAC.
- Strong understanding of digital technologies, including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and data analytics.
- Experience working with offshore teams across different time zones in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of SDLC and/or Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Technical or programming background is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and customer service orientation.
