Role Summary
The role is for aBusiness Analystspecializing in supply chain financing solutions. The primary goal is to enhance theConnexis Supply Chain (CSC) applicationby working with global teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and manage the testing process. The position involves a blend of project-based work and application support, acting as a crucial link between business users and the IT development team.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Requirements and Analysis: Defining and documenting new business requirements, performing systematic business analysis, and ensuring requirements align with business needs and IT standards.
- Solution Design: Creating functional solutions and user workflows, documenting functional specifications, and presenting these to stakeholders for sign-off.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Developing the scope and approach for SIT, UAT, and NRT. This includes guiding the testing team, reviewing test cases, validating results, and assisting users with UAT to ensure the quality of delivered fixes and enhancements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Walking through requirements and proposed solutions with stakeholders and ensuring all parties are aligned and have signed off on the plans.
- Production Support: Analyzing and proposing solutions for production defects and assisting with data conversion or migration exercises when needed.
- Compliance and Technical Contribution: Ensuring all work adheres to bank compliance policies and contributing to technical design reviews to improve overall solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience: A minimum of12-15 years of total experience, with at least6-8 years as an IT Business Analyst. Experience inTrade FinancingorSupply Chain Financingis highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge ofAgile and Waterfall SDLC, familiarity with data formats likeXML, SWIFT, and ISO20022, and hands-on experience withdatabase SQL. Experience with functional design forlarge web applications and microservices, includingREST APIs, is also required.
- Soft Skills: A good team player with strong communication and coordination skills, capable of working independently with cross-cultural and cross-country teams.
- Education: A graduate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
