What You Will Do

  • Drive the deployment and integration of CORE principles across operations to achieve business goals.
  • Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, and other Lean Six Sigma initiatives to improve workflows.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in CORE tools and techniques, providing training and support to cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze manufacturing and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Develop and implement time studies, capacity analyses, and production flow optimizations.
  • Utilize Industrial Engineering methodologies to design layouts, optimize resource allocation, and enhance productivity.
  • Plan the allocation of resources, materials and personnel to establish maximum utilization of equipment.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends and problem areas.
  • Develop data-driven solutions to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve cost-effectiveness.
  • Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
  • Implement statistical process controls (SPC) and other quality assurance tools to monitor and maintain performance.
  • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and other teams to align CORE goals with overall business objectives.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and progress updates to stakeholders, including management and team members.
  • Partner with leadership to establish metrics and performance indicators to track CORE initiatives success.
  • Support and participate in the EH&S programs and activities within the company.
  • Support CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) projects to achieve business and enterprise objectives.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Min 5 years experience in industrial engineering, operations, manufacturing or Continuous Improvement.
  • Project management experience and driving change management and process improvement.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and leadership skills.
  • Process and detail oriented, including strong interpersonal and prioritization skills.
  • Lean manufacturing or repair experience with a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Relevant experience in Aerospace, manufacturing or MRO.
  • CORE Accreditation and or LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt and a passion for process improvement and alignment.
