Our client is a growing F&B chain in Singapore with multiple outlets. They are looking for a Senior HR Specialist to oversee end-to-end HR operations, support outlet expansion, and partner closely with operations leaders to drive workforce planning, employee engagement, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
- Prepare employment contracts, confirmation letters, transfers and exit documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS
- Administer probation reviews and contract renewals
- Handle HR queries from outlet managers and employees
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Support monthly payroll preparation and validation
- Verify attendance, overtime, and shift allowances
- Administer leave management and benefits
- Coordinate with payroll vendor (if outsourced)
- Ensure accurate statutory submissions and deductions
Employee Relations
- Handle disciplinary matters, grievances and investigations
- Support performance management and counselling sessions
- Advise line managers on employee issues
- Manage termination and exit processes
- Support employee engagement initiatives across outlets
HR Compliance & Work Pass
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Employment Act and MOM regulations
- Manage work pass administration (Work Permit, S Pass, EP)
- Liaise with MOM and external vendors where required
- Maintain proper HR documentation for audits
- Update HR policies and employee handbook
HR Administration
- Monitor headcount and manpower reports
- Prepare HR reports (turnover, absenteeism, overtime)
- Support onboarding and orientation programs
- Coordinate training and mandatory certifications (e.g. food hygiene)
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related field with 5–8 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in F&B. Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and MOM regulations, with hands-on experience supporting frontline, shift-based workforce. Exposure to work pass administration and payroll is advantageous. Candidates should be hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to manage employee relations in a fast-paced, multi-outlet environment.
