Job Description

Senior HR Manager, Logistics $11,000, Jurong, Office based close to MRT

Charterhouse, Singapore are supporting a global logistics organisation in their search for a new HR leader to cover Singapore and support the region from a shared service perspective.

Leading a small team, this role will report to the Business and manage end to end HR (including inhouse payroll) in a hands on yet strategic role.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the HR team to execute daily HR administrative functions whilst ensuring 100% compliance
  • Be the subject matter expert for all Ministry of Manpower (MOM) related matters such as work pass applications and renewals etc
  • Update and manage the HRIS system for reporting and data capture
  • Oversee all end-to-end payroll processing by the HR team for Singapore and provide regional support where needed
  • Manage statutory submissions (CPF, IR8A, IR21) and vendors for regional tax clearances.
  • Realign the regional benefits framework to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Oversee end to end talent acquisition & manage the end-to-end cycle, from strategic sourcing through to interviewing and closure
  • Manage all training and development initiatives whilst identifying regional training gaps and assigning professional development programs and workshops
  • Lad on onboarding and integration of new joiners and focus on integrating them into the business
  • Lead the mobility initiatives and take the lead into candidate relocation including sourcing and managing the complex relocations logistics and arrangements including housing
  • Provide guidance on cross-border tax implications support new joiners in the process
  • Review and standardize all of the HR policies and SOPs in Singapore and across the wider region
  • Provide data-driven HR insights such as manpower budgeting and setting KPI tracking where needed

Attributes:

  • 8–10 years of generalist HR experience including significant team management with some regional exposure
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in payroll software such as Times Software or Sage ETC
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
