Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a senior HR professional to serve as HR lead and business partner to our MAS-regulated Singapore entity. You will work closely with business leaders, Compliance, Legal and Risk to make sure our people practices, organisation design and workforce decisions meet both business needs and regulatory expectations. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how HR supports a regulated business across licensing, key appointments, governance and ongoing regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as HR lead and business partner to one or more regulated Singapore entities, advising leaders on performance management, employee relations, compensation and sensitive people matters.
  • Partner with Compliance, Legal and senior management on regulatory workforce and organisation requirements, including licence applications, licence variations and ongoing regulatory reviews.
  • Manage HR requirements for key appointment holders, regulated representatives and senior management, including fit-and-proper assessments, background checks and governance documentation.
  • Support MAS queries, audits, inspections and regulatory submissions where people-related information is required, and ensure organisation structure, job scope and reporting lines align with regulatory expectations.
  • Lead workforce planning, organisation design, succession planning and critical-role coverage, while keeping HR policies compliant with Singapore employment law and working with regional and global teams to maintain local governance and substance.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 8 years of relevant HR experience, ideally at HR Business Partner, HR Lead or HR Director level.
  • Direct experience in an MAS-regulated financial institution, in areas such as CMS, brokerage, securities, payments, banking, digital assets or asset management.
  • Strong understanding of regulated-entity governance and how HR works with Compliance, Legal and senior management.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment law and MOM requirements, with excellent senior stakeholder management skills.
  • A hands-on approach, comfortable executing as well as designing frameworks.

Strongly preferred: personal involvement in a MAS licence application, licence variation, regulatory audit, inspection or remediation exercise; experience with fit-and-proper assessments, regulated representatives or key appointment holders; experience setting up or scaling a licensed entity; and a background in brokerage, trading, fintech, payments or digital assets.
