Job Description

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning HR strategies with business priorities and operational needs
  • Provide guidance on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and talent strategies

Employee Relations & Industrial Relations

  • Lead and manage employee relations cases end-to-end, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes
  • Partner with stakeholders on union-related matters, including negotiations, agreements, and dispute resolution
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the industrial relations landscape and proactively mitigate risks

Employee Engagement & Workforce Experience

  • Design and drive employee engagement initiatives, with a focus on blue-collar and field-based employees
  • Conduct focus groups and on-the-ground engagement sessions to gather insights and improve employee experience
  • Build strong relationships with employees by maintaining a visible and approachable HR presence

Talent & Performance Management

  • Support leaders on performance management, talent development, and succession planning
  • Provide coaching to managers to strengthen leadership capability and team effectiveness

Compliance & HR Operations

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies
  • Work closely with regional HR teams and stakeholders to support operational HR needs

Regional Mobility

  • Travel regularly across the region to engage with field employees and leaders
  • Develop firsthand understanding of workforce challenges and operational dynamics

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • 8–12+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong exposure to HR business partnering
  • Proven experience in employee relations and union/industrial relations management
  • Solid knowledge of the local labor laws and IR practices
  • Experience supporting blue-collar, operations, or field-based workforce

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Master's degree or HR certification is an advantage
  • Experience working in regional or multi-site environments
