Job Description

Job Purpose Summary:

The incumbent will provide HR generalist support to the QNB Singapore Branch, in being effective and efficient single point of contact on all HR related matters, carry out HR project execution duties by assisting in the implementation of Group level and local HR programs and initiatives and support change management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of HR strategies for attracting, developing, motivating and retaining deserving employees as set by the Group HR.
  • Ensure quality HR services to the stakeholders in the most cost-effective manner.
  • Provide appropriate advice in employment, counselling, compensation & benefits, talent management, training and organization development.
  • Work closely with Branch CEO, Senior HR manager and all employees to implement HR initiatives, policies and procedures in the interest of the QNB Group.
  • Coordinate staff, recruitment and training activities for the Branch.
  • Provide support to Management in resolving grievance or complex HR related issues.
  • Assist in end-to-end HR onboarding / offboarding process and support in regulatory and Head Office reporting.
  • Assist in the development of communication to local employees and facilitate training & development needs for employees.
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties and projects related to HR as request by Management from time to time.

Education/Experience requirements:

  • Minimum 2-5 years experience in Human Resources, preferably in the banking industry.
  • Solid understanding of local employment legislation, compliance requirements and changes impacting the workforce.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Composed, organized and being a team player.
  • Ensure high standard of data protection and confidentiality to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Maintain high professional standard to uphold QNB's reputation and to strengthen its market leadership position.
