Job Description As an HRIS Specialist, you will be responsible for the configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). You will partner closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-friendly HR technology solutions across the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and enhance HRIS platforms and modules, including Core HR, Recruiting, Time & Attendance, Payroll, Absence Management, Learning, Performance, and Talent Management
- Act as a bridge between HR, IT, and business teams, translating business requirements into technical and system solutions
- Continuously analyze and improve HR workflows, ensuring systems are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business objectives
- Design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards to track key HR metrics and provide actionable insights for leadership
- Provide day-to-day HRIS support and troubleshooting, ensuring timely resolution of system issues with minimal disruption to HR operations
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, offering guidance on HR system capabilities and process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, test enhancements, and manage deployments
- Lead or support HRIS system enhancements, upgrades, and new feature implementations, ensuring smooth rollout and user adoption
- Identify opportunities to automate and optimize HR processes using system functionality and technical solutions
- Support change management initiatives by documenting processes, developing training materials, and delivering user training sessions
- Promote best practices in HRIS usage, data integrity, security, and system governance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, HR, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience working with enterprise HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar)
- Strong understanding of HR processes and data structures, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Hands-on experience configuring HRIS modules such as Core HR, Recruiting, Absence, Performance, Talent, or Payroll
- Experience creating reports, dashboards, and HR analytics
- Proven ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders and lead complex requirements discussions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience leading or supporting system enhancements, process optimization, or automation initiatives
- Familiarity with integrations, workflows, and data validation concepts
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
