Job Advertisement: Senior Horticulture Officer (Town Council)
Salary: $2,600 - $3,200
Job Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily inspection and supervision of landscape areas, including trees, turf, shrubs, and planting beds
- Issue job instructions and work orders for landscape maintenance and improvement works
- Monitor and ensure contractors works are completed according to specifications, schedules, and safety requirements
- Conduct routine tree inspections and report hazardous, unhealthy, or damaged trees
- Assist in tree pruning, treatment, removal, and replacement works
- Ensure all landscape works comply with Town Council standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines
- Attend to residents feedback and complaints related to greenery matters
- Certify completion of contractors work and recommend for payment
- Apply for necessary approvals, licences, and certificates when required
- Maintain proper records and reports (inspection logs, work progress, defect lists, etc.)
Requirements:
- Diploma in Horticulture, Landscape Management, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
