To carry out daily inspection and supervision of landscape areas, including trees, turf, shrubs, and planting beds.
To issue job instructions and work orders for all landscape maintenance and improvement works.
To monitor and ensure that contractors maintenance works are carried out in accordance with specifications, schedules, and safety requirements.
To conduct routine tree inspections and report hazardous, unhealthy, or damaged trees for follow-up action.
To assist in the implementation of tree pruning, treatment, removal, and replacement works as directed by the Horticulture Manager.
To ensure that landscape works comply with Town Council standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
To handle and attend to residents feedback and complaints related to greenery matters, and to report findings accordingly.
To certify the completion of jobs undertaken by contractors and make recommendations for payment.
To apply for and obtain all necessary approvals, licences, and certificates from the relevant authorities when required.
To act on behalf of the Town Council in enforcing existing warranties, where necessary, in respect of building components provided by contractors to the Town Council.
To maintain proper records and reports, including inspection logs, work progress reports, and defect lists.
Requirements:
Approved diploma in horticulture and landscape management or its approved equivalent with at least two (2) years relevant experience
