Position Summary
The Senior Global Product Manager, AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robotics) will own the global AMR portfolio strategy and business performance for Swisslog Healthcare. This role combines product strategy, innovation leadership, market development, and commercial execution to drive revenue growth, profitability, and global market expansion of healthcare AMR solutions.
Key Business Objectives
- Drive global AMR revenue growth and profitability.
- Expand Swisslog Healthcare's AMR presence across healthcare systems and hospitals worldwide.
- Strengthen Swisslog Healthcare's competitive position against key industry players including Aethon (TUG), DS Automation, MiR, Geek+, Hai Robotics, ForwardX, Quicktron, Locus Robotics, Amazon Robotics, and emerging market competitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global AMR portfolio strategy and product roadmap.
- Own the lifecycle management of AMR solutions, including fleet management software, workflow orchestration, robotic picking solutions, and TransMove integrations.
- Identify and develop new healthcare automation applications, including medication delivery, linen transport, waste management, meal delivery, pharmacy logistics, and sterile goods transport.
- Support strategic customer engagements, tenders, and major bids globally.
- Develop business cases, product positioning, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
- Collaborate closely with innovation, engineering, sales, delivery, and service teams to ensure successful product development and deployment.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, emerging technologies, and competitive activities.
- Drive next-generation AMR innovation and product differentiation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, portfolio management, or business development.
- Experience with AMR, healthcare automation, intralogistics, robotics, or material handling solutions.
- Proven track record of managing global B2B products and portfolios.
- Knowledge of healthcare operations, hospital logistics, and clinical workflows is preferred.
