Senior General Manager, Finance / Business Support Group

Purpose
The role will lead the regional finance function, providing strong financial stewardship, strategic insight and business partnership across the APAC region. While the primary focus remains on Financial Controllership and Governance, the role is also responsible for the performance and integration of key business support functions to ensure that IT infrastructure, Supply Chain efficiency and Transformation initiatives are financially viable and operationally excellent.

Responsibilities, Knowledge & Abilities
1. Financial Leadership & Governance

. Provide overall leadership of the APAC finance function, covering accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury, and internal controls

. Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements across APAC countries

. Maintain robust internal controls, financial policies, and governance aligned with group standards

. Act as the key finance advisor to APAC leadership and country heads

2. FP&A & Business Partnering

. Own regional FP&A, including annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and scenario analysis

. Deliver timely, accurate financial insights, dashboards, and management reports to support decision-making

. Partner with business leaders to evaluate investments, pricing, cost structures, and profitability

. Drive performance management, variance analysis, and corrective action planning

3. Strategic Planning & Commercial Support

. Support regional growth strategies, market entry, and business transformation initiatives

. Identify opportunities for cost optimization, productivity improvement, and margin enhancement

4. Accounting, Reporting & Controls

. Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for APAC entities

. Ensure timely and accurate regional and group reporting

. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies

. Drive standardization and process improvements across APAC finance operations

5. Team Leadership & Development

. Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse, multi-country finance team

. Build a strong finance business partnering culture across the region

. Support succession planning and capability building within the finance organization

6. Sub Lead Business Support Functions - Supply Chain Management (SCM), Information & Communication Technology (ICT) and Transformation Management Office (TMO)

7. Stakeholder & Global Collaboration

. Act as the primary finance interface between APAC and Global HQ

. Collaborate with global FP&A, controllership, tax, and treasury teams

. Support global initiatives such as system implementations, process harmonization, and policy rollouts

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
. Minimum 15+ years working experience in finance areas, with at least 5 years in a regional leadership capacity within MNC.
. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline with professional qualifications (CPA or equivalent)
. Strong knowledge of accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS)
. Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen
. Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, complex, and multicultural environment
