My client is a reputable global hedge fund currently seeking a Senior Fund Operations professional to join its expanding team in Singapore. The role will be responsible for overseeing fund settlement and reconciliation processes. This is a valuable opportunity to be part of the firm as it continues to grow and strengthen its presence in the market.
Responsibilities
- Handle daily operations for VCC funds, including processing investor subscriptions and redemptions, managing account openings and exchange memberships, and ensuring timely payments and documentation.
- Review Net Asset Value (NAV) reports prepared by fund administrators, and support annual fund audits and regulatory declarations.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key partners such as brokers, fund administrators, and service providers, serving as the primary contact for both external queries and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects and take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in fund operations or a related function within asset management or hedge funds.
- Hands-on experience with vcc fund operations
- Solid understanding of financial markets and strong knowledge of financial statements.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise collaboration tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively across stakeholders.
