The Senior Functional Consultant will support the implementation, rollout, and enhancement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations - Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions.
The role focuses on business process analysis, functional configuration, end‑to‑end functional testing, documentation, and stakeholder coordination for regional ERP programs.
Functional Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across Supply Chain Management areas, including:
- Procurement & Sourcing
- Inventory Management
- Warehouse Management
- Production Control / Manufacturing
- Master Planning & Demand Forecasting
- Logistics and Distribution
- Conduct business process workshops, As‑Is / To‑Be analysis, and fit‑gap assessments with business stakeholders.
- Configure Dynamics 365 F&O SCM modules in line with approved requirements and industry best practices.
- Prepare and maintain functional documentation, including:
- Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
- End‑to‑end process flows
- Configuration and setup documentation
Testing & Quality Assurance Responsibilities
- Define and manage end‑to‑end functional test scenarios covering SCM business processes.
- Prepare functional test cases and test scripts based on approved requirements.
- Execute and support System Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate end‑to‑end business flows across modules, integrations, and legal entities.
- Analyze defects, perform functional root‑cause analysis, and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
- Support business users during conference room pilots (CRPs) and solution walkthroughs.
Stakeholder & Delivery Support
- Work closely with business users, project managers, and solution leads throughout the project lifecycle.
- Explain functional requirements clearly and validate delivered functionality against business expectations.
- Support change request analysis, functional impact assessment, and regression testing.
- Provide functional support during go‑live and post‑go‑live hypercare phases.
- Participate in regional rollout and deployment activities across APAC where required.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365 F&O SCM Functional Consultant.
- Strong hands‑on experience in Supply Chain functional areas.
- Experience supporting at least one end‑to‑end ERP implementation or major rollout.
- Knowledge or experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 is a plus, especially for legacy system support or migration initiatives.
