The Opportunity

Adecco is partnering with a US tech MNC to look for a Senior Full Stack Developer.
Senior Software Engineer role focused on building and integrating scalable applications, primarily through strong backend/OOP development, system architecture, and technical leadership, with frontend experience in React/Next.js as a plus.
The role will start out as a contract

The Talent

At least 7 years of hands-on software development experience in large-scale or complex environments.
Strong backend development experience using an object-oriented programming language.
Python is preferred, but strong experience with Java, Go, Kotlin, PHP, Node.js, or similar technologies is acceptable.
Proven experience building and delivering new applications/systems, rather than primarily maintaining existing systems.
Experience designing and developing scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems.
Experience taking end-to-end ownership of projects, features, or technical components.
Experience leading major technical initiatives and projects.
Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS and REST APIs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with code reviews, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production reliability.

Good to have:

Familiarity with GraphQL, Redis, RDBMS/SQL databases, responsive UI development, CSS animations, and UI/UX tools such as Zeplin or Abstract would be advantageous.
Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, tracking, and data analytics is also a plus.

Job Description

Build new internal applications that help teams improve their workflows and productivity.
Integrate existing internal systems and tools so information can be aggregated and accessed in one place.
Work closely with Product, Design, Operations, and Infrastructure teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Develop backend services and scalable applications that support complex business requirements.
Build and improve frontend interfaces where required, using technologies such as React or Next.js.
Design and architect scalable systems, with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
Improve code quality through code reviews, testing, monitoring, and production rollouts.
Identify and reduce technical debt and improve existing systems.
Take end-to-end ownership of applications, features, or technical components.
Lead major technical initiatives and projects across multiple teams.
Use data and technical analysis to identify problems, determine root causes, and develop solutions.
Work with a variety of programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.
